For 8 years I worked in Further Education helping young people and adults with learning difficulties and disabilities on an individual and class basis overcome barriers and achieve their potential. For the last 5 years I have worked for the charity Turn Around, based at St Mary Cray, helping all ages with numeracy and literacy, and as a private tutor at Key Stage 1 and 2 with a particular emphasis on supporting neurodiverse children.
In 2022, I was proud to be nominated at Bromley Borough’s Voluntary Work Awards in the Supporting an Individual category. This recognition came as a result of my voluntary maths tuition with the charity Hestia. It was a reminder of how small acts of support can make a lasting difference in someone’s learning journey.
I also work with parents and adults who want to improve their own numeracy so they can better support their children — or even move into education themselves. I’ve seen first hand how increased confidence in maths can open up both career and personal growth opportunities.
I am a resident of Farnborough Village and a verified member of the Tutors Association, the foremost professional body for private tutors.

If you’re looking for a numeracy or literacy tutor in Orpington, Bromley, or Farnborough, Kent — whether for yourself or your child — I’d love to help. Let’s chat about how I can support your learning goals.
